TLM Language Services is a group of progressive and intellectual educators, creatives, and business minded people who never shy away from truth and always engage the minds of our clients. An experienced group of educators, speakers, consultants, poets, and authors, we strive to bring a fresh and inspiring voice in the academic and creative arenas.
We are currently seeking serious-minded individuals looking for experience and exposure in the creative industry who are committed to write, research, plan, and participate in the day to day operations of TLM.
Bloggers are expected to write well-informed, thought-provoking content that is original and relevant to the creative industries--in particular, authorship.
Book Reviewers will be assigned manuscripts by Indie Authors & poets with the occasional current mainstream release.
Book Reviews are expected to be professional, fair, and provocative, giving insight to the average reader.
Educational/Curriculum Intern (2)
Educational Curriculum Interns should have some experience with Instructional design and research and have the ability to commit to at least six months with TLM Language Services and have a basic command of standard American English-- both oral and written. Interns will both contribute ideas and implement for course design to LMS, format and edit corresponding ebooks, and work with other interns for company-wide projects and events; and other duties as needed.
Publishing/Events Intern (2)
Publishing/Events Interns should be computer savvy and have a basic command of standard American English-- both oral and written, be comfortable with editing and proofreading, and display leadership and organizational skills as well critical thinking skills; creativity, and flexibility, passion, and commitment are a must. Interns will work with other interns for company-wide projects and events; and other duties as needed
Social Media/Marketing Intern (3)
Marketing Interns should be creative; contribute and implement fresh and relevant marketing strategies; computer savvy; experience in graphic design; understand traditional and social media marketing. Interns are expected to work well with others, as all interns will work company-wide projects and events; and other duties as needed.
Sales Interns should have an excellent command of standard American English-- both oral and written; retail experience; innovative and outgoing; networking experience and an entrepreneurial spirit; should also be organized, flexible, and persistent.
Public Relations Interns should have an excellent command of standard American English-- both oral and written; be able to research, network with knowledge of how to leverage said network as well as some experience with writing and distributing some press releases; must be comfortable with public speaking and engaging the general public as well as targeted clientele.
Though intern positions do not include a salaried compensation, we are cognizant that our interns will need to be both recognized and rewarded for their efforts. Therefore, in addition to exposure, experience, and industry connections gained while in the service of TLM, our interns will receive the following: a 20% discount on company-wide services and products, the opportunity to use their internship as part of a course requirement, a guest pass for specific TLM events, and upon successful completion of the program, a letter of commendation/reference.
