Submission Guidelines
TLM seeks to publish quality writing from around the world by new and experienced writers on any subject matter. Send us your best poem, short story, essay, or blog article.
Reading Period: Year-Round

Response Time: 4 to 6 Months
(Response times may vary, depending on peak times)

All submissions will be considered carefully for publication. Accepted submissions will be printed on our website and in our online quarterly magazine.

Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

Genre Guidelines
Fiction
Acceptable word counts for short stories range from 500 to 5,000 words. Stories (flash fiction, short stories, novella excerpts) should be sent as a Word Doc file (doc or docx). Other requirements include:

Poetry
Submit up to three poems per submission. Each poem should be placed on a separate page. Poems should not exceed twenty pages per submission. Poems should be sent as Word Doc file (doc or docx).

Blog Articles
Our readers seek advice and information about writing. Therefore, articles should be writing-related. Blogs with word counts of 500-2,000 words are preferred. Blogs should be sent as a Word Doc file (doc or docx). Other requirements include:
